- Nintendo revealed in CoroCoro magazine that Pokemon Black & White will have a new Pass By Mode, which allows players who are in nearby location to share content and interact to each other. There is also a DSi exclusive feature "Live Caster", which allows you to video chat with 4 friends over Wi-fi, provided they are all registered with Friend Codes.

- Sega released a new preview trailer of Kurohyou Ryu ga Gotoku Shinshou [Black Panther: Yakuza The New Chapter] for PSP, showing story background and gameplay footage.
- Namco Bandai released a new trailer of Ace Combat: Joint Assault for PSP, showing the gameplay and improved combat scene. The game will be released on August 31, 2010.

- Sony announced a new PS3 firmware update will be available in September, which enables PS3 to play 3D videos (Blu-ray, digital and broadcast formats), watch 3D photos and watch 3D YouTube videos online. It also confirmed that YouTube will be supporting 3D content over the next 12 months.

- Ubisoft announced Splinter Cell Conviction for Xbox 360 and PC has sold 1.9 million units worldwide since April 13.

- AQ Interactive announced that Cavia has been incorporated into AQ Interactive Group, the last game released by Cavia is Square Enix's Nier. The Cavia brand will not be used anymore in future.
- Ubisoft announced the upcoming high-end games from the company will all support steroscopic 3D, which includes Ghost Recon: Future Soldier and Shaun White Skateboarding. Guillemot estimates that prices of 3DTV will fall next year and significantly more 3DTVs will be installed at homes.
- Ubisoft has postponed the release date of Driver: San Francisco from this fall to 2011, due to strong competition this holiday season.
- Square Enix has registered Samurai Eleven for trademark protection in Japan, which seems to be a new game in the Musashi series, or something completely new.
- George Hotz (Geohot), the guy who created the iPhone jailbreaking methods, announced he is leaving the scene and will not producing more jailbreaking and untethering tools. He was not happy about people demanding release dates, he said "it was a cool ride, and i've learned a lot about a lot. Perhaps one of these days I'll do a more formal goodbye.".
