- Namco Bandai announced God Eater Burst for PSP, which is an enhanced, version 1.5 of the original God Eater, featuring additional story, characters, weapons and Aragami beasts not found in the original. The gameplay has been tweaked for balance and the graphics has been improved as well.
- Square Enix revealed that its PSP action RPG Lord of Arcana will have encounter battles, you engage into battles by touching the monsters in the field. While you are in a battle, other players can join in to fight, and you can also flee from the battle. Lord of Arcana is scheduled for an October 14 release in Japan.

- Sega will release Shinji Mikami's third person shooter Vanquish for PS3 and Xbox 360 in Japan on October 21, 2010.
- Kojima Hideo mentioned that his next project will be on console system, the design is almost finalized and he hopes to do things he couldn't in MGS Peace Walker. This project also caused the development of the next Zone of the Enders project being pushed back.
- Capcom Europe mentioned in the Twitter page that a major announcement will come within two days.
- Sega mentioned that they will not participate in the uipcoming GamesCom from August 18 - 22 in Cologne, for economic reasons.
- Ubisoft mentioned that Rayman Origins Episode 1 will be released on PS3 and Xbox 360 before this coming Christmas.
- Sega mentioned that they have no plans to pursuit a sequel to Alpha Protocol, because the game sold poorly and the development cost was too high.

- Sony will launch the PlayStation Move motion controller in Japan on October 21, 2010, for 3980 yen, optional Navigation Unit controller will sell for 2980 yen. Two PlayStation Move Bundles will be available on the same date.
