- Namco Bandai producer Makoto Yoshitsumi mentioned in his Twitter page that something new for the Tales series will be revealed in the July 15 issue of Famitsu magazine -- which suggested a new title. Current rumors stated that is a new PS3 title called Tales of Unitia.
- Metal Gear Solid Rising producer Shigenobu Matsuyama mentioned that the game could possibly turn into a series if it is a success. He said that "MGS Rising is not a side story, they are aiming for two Metal Gear Solids, making a series out of another standard".
- Konami mentioned that Hideo Kojima will continue to work on the future Metal Gear Solid games, but what role will he assume is unclear. Currently Kojima is the executive producer of Metal Gear Solid Rising.
- June Takeuchi, producer of Resident Evil 5 said that he has no role in the development of Resident Evil 6. Takeuchi announced that he is working on an unnamed title with Keiji Inafune since last year.

- Sony has released PS3 firmware v3.4 today, which added PlayStation Plus and Facebook integration. User will be able to access online Picasa and Facebook photo albums, upload pictures, create and edit albums, and share albums with PSN friends. Also new is the video edit feature, which allows you to edit and upload videos from your hard drive to Facebook and Youtube.
- Sony Worldwide Studios president Shuhei Yoshida said that Sony is planning to release more HD game collections for PS3, which are remakes of PS2 classics in HD format.
- Amazon listed The Team ICO Collection for PS3, a collection of two PS2 classics: Shadow of Colossus and ICO. The game will be released in June 30, 2011. Sony has not confirmed the release.
