- Microsoft mentioned that the new Xbox 360 slimline model will not have the Red Ring of Death, if the console experience the same problem, it will display the defect in a different way than with the red lights.
- Microsoft mentioned that hardware bundle for Kinect will be coming to Xbox 360 at a later time.
- Microsoft mentioned that Kinect will probably work in combination with a controller. The first batch of Kinect games will all be controller free, it is possible that Kinect will work with a controller.

- Sony's Anton Mikhailov mentioned at E3 that the PlayStation Move's Navigation controller can be replaced with the standard Dual Shock controller, the two are interchangeable. Last year at TGS when Resident Evil 5 Alternative Edition was demonstrated using PS Move and Dual Shock.
- Sony's Ron Egale said that Team ICO's The Last Guardian was not shown at E3 because development was not yet at a point where you can show a demo, but the game will probably be at the Tokyo Game Show in September.

- Tetsuya Nomura said that Kingdom Hearts 3 is not in development yet, and the newly announced Kingdom Hearts 3D for 3DS is a brand new title but not the third game. If there is Kingdom Hearts 3 in future, it will probably appear on a console platform. He also added that the KH team is busy with Final Fantasy Versus XIII, and the Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep team is doing early works on Kingdom Hearts 3D for 3DS.
- Sega dismissed the rumor at E3, that they are working on a new console system. Sega West president Mike Hayes said that they are a software company, and certain will not return to the hardware business.
- Hideo Kojima mentioned that the works on Zone of the Enders 3 is on hold until further notice, producer Kenichiro Imaizumi said that it was not an easy decision.
- Core Games VP Danny Bilson mentioned that Darksiders 2 is in development and should be out to the market by 2012.
- THQ mentioned that first details of Saints Row 3 will be unveiled in December 2010.
- Bethesda Softworks mentioned that the release date of the shooter Brink has been pushed back to 2011.
