- Microsoft has officially announced the slimline Xbox 360 is now available for US$299, the new model will have a 250GB detachable Hard Drive, 45nm processors, built-in Wireless-N and built-in port for Kinect motion-sensing system.

- Microsoft also announced price cut for existing models. The 120GB Xbox 360 Elite Model is now $249.99, and the Arcade model without Hard Drive will be $149.99. Both models will be discontinued shortly. Microsoft mentioned a new version of slimline Xbox 360 will be announced soon to replace the Arcade model, and will be priced at $199.99.
